Every perfume is composed of three layers called “notes”:
- Top Notes (Head Notes): The initial smell right after spraying. Usually citrus or ginger. Lasts 5–15 minutes.
- Heart Notes (Middle Notes): The personality of the perfume. Usually floral or fruit notes. Lasts 2–4 hours.
- Base Notes: The final impression that clings to your skin/clothes. Usually wood or musk. Lasts all day.
